STOP PRESS – Planning Permission Granted!
We are delighted and thankful to announce that we have now been granted planning permission for a new development in the village of Peasmarsh, East Sussex.
Pond House will consist of ten luxury one and two bedroom apartments, and has been beautifully designed to reflect the local character, within landscaped gardens. The apartments have been designed to support an independent lifestyle for the over-55’s, but come with the reassurance that care and support services are available if or when required. A private parking space is allocated for each apartment and a secure, gated entrance provides peace of mind.
Plans for Pond House were submitted early last year, and after a lengthy process the plans were recommended for refusal at the planning meeting yesterday morning. However, contrary to expectations, remarkably the planning committee unanimously voted to approve the application, with conditions. We would like to thank the Planning Committee, Parish Councils and local Councillors for their support.
We now look forward to commencing this project. Our architect Vicky will be liasing with the Planning Officers to finalise all details relating to the conditions, after which the Section 106 legal agreements will be enacted. This will then be followed by tenders from all parties for the works. This process will be on-going over the next few months and we will provide further updates as the works progress.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all supporters for their unwavering encouragement and continued prayers. This process has been rather drawn out, but we do acknowledge the very “marked” way in which this permission has been granted.
