Thank You – A Busy Day

Thank you to all who came along to the Autumn Fayre last week at Mayfield Memorial Hall. The total sum raised was £2450

The cakes soon sold out, then the chocolate biscuits, then nearly all the fresh bread (especially the cheese ones) and over 100 jars of jam and chutnies were sold.  Christmas items , some lovely plants and wooden gifts all added to the total. The BBQ and the homemade soup were very popular and of course the hot drinks sold well.

Thanks to all who helped in any way and especially to the lads who washed all the cars in the car park – over £200 was raised on this alone. They are getting quite expert at this job now 🙂

The trustees are pleased the event was a success and feel very encouraged.
